النحـات حـازم الـزعبـي إلى إدهاشـنا بطـرائق متـجــددة في خطـابه الـفني، فـقد اختبر الطــين بكـل تجليــاته الخــزفية فيمــا يخــص النــحت الخــزفي فكانت تــلك البـدايات المبـهـرة في الانتـقال إلى مـادة أكثـر نبـلا هي مـادة الحـجـر والبـرونـز، مـادتـان تمتــلكان الديمــومة التــي تقـتدم صــورة نبيـلة عن النحت الذي يقدمه الزعبــي من خـلال التنـقل بيـن الأسـطورة والأثر الحضاري الأردني المتمثل في تماثيـل عين غـزال والتـي تعـبر المنحوتات الأقـدم في تـاريخ المنـطقـة وصـولا على طبيـعة المـواد المستخـدمة فيـها، فقـد التـفت الزعبي لمنطقة مهمة جدا لـم يلتفت إليـها أحـد غيـره، فكـانت السياق الأكثـر تفردا وإغراء لمواصلة تحقيق وتحوير تلك الأشكال الغرائبية والتي أصبحت صورة متقدم في النحت العربي

Sculptor Hazem Alzubi seamlessly blends contemporary styles with age-old myths and cultural heritage, consistently captivating audiences with his dynamic artistic techniques. Initially gaining attention for his work in ceramics, particularly in sculpting clay, Alzubi soon elevated his artistry by transitioning to more enduring materials like stone and bronze. The durability and nobility of these materials enhanced the dignity of his sculptures. Alzubi often draws inspiration from Jordanian myths and cultural relics, such as the ancient Ain Ghazal statues, which are among the earliest sculptures in the region’s history. His work not only pays homage to these timeless pieces but also explores new dimensions in materials and form. Uniquely, Alzubi focuses on areas often overlooked by others in his field, enriching the context of his art and pushing the boundaries of conventional sculpture. Through this innovative approach, Alzubi has significantly contributed to the advancement of sculpture within both the Arab and Jordanian art scenes.
