يدعوكم/ن جدَل للمعرفة والثّقافة لحضور أمسية غنائيّة مع الفنّانة اللبنانيّة مي نصر*، وذلك دعمًا لصمودنا وصمود أهلنا في غزّة.

في هذه الأمسية، ستغنّي مي مع غيتارها، ونغنّي معها، أعمالًا متنوّعة من تراثنا الوطني.

الموعد: الجمعة 9 شباط، يبدأ التّجمّع في السّاعة 6:30 مساءً.
الرّسوم: 10 دنانير، تدفع على الباب. 20% من أرباح الأمسية ستذهب لصالح “حملة صمود”** لدعم أهلنا في غزّة.

*مي نصر فنّانة من لبنان، تغنّي للحقّ والحب والوحدة والسّلام. أقامت العديد من الأمسيات الغنائيّة في دول المنطقة وأوروبا وأمريكا. تخرّجت من الجامعة اللبنانيّة الأميركيّة (LAU) في بيروت بشهادة بكالوريوس في الفنون – تنمية الموارد البشريّة والعمل الاجتماعي. بجانب نشاطها الفنّي، تساهم مي في دعم تنمية المجتمعات المهمّشة من خلال عملها.

تلقّت مي دروساً خصوصيّة من قبل أهم عمالقة الفن الغنائي بمن فيهم زكي ناصيف، أستاذة الموسيقى وتدريب الصّوت بديعة صبرا حداد (التي كانت أستاذة السيدة فيروز، ماجدة الرّومي، وغيرهما من أيقونات الغناء اللبناني)، كما تتلمذت مي على يد كبير مهندسي الصّوت في لبنان والشّرق الأوسط الأستاذ فريد أبو الخير الذي اعتبرته والدها الروحي.

أنتجت مي ألبومها الغنائي الأوّل (للغالي) سنة ٢٠٠٨، أغنية فردية (أحبّك) من كتابات الأديبة الكبيرة غادة السمّان سنة ٢٠١٢. اضافةً لذلك، انتجت مي ألبوم مشترك مع صديقتها المطربة اللاتينية “لوردس بيريز – Lourdes Perez” في الولايات المتحدة الأميركية تحت اسم (مكتوب في الماء) سنة ٢٠٠٩. وقد قدمتا عدد من الحفلات سوياً في أميركا بعد أن قامتا بإحياء حفلة مشتركة في اسبانيا بدعوة من “جمعية القدس مالاغا للحوار والديمقراطية” عام ٢٠١١. لمتابعة قناتها على اليوتيوب: https://www.youtube.com/@maynasr/videos

**حملة صمود هي حملة شعبيّة أردنيّة تطوّعيّة طموحة، انطلقت حديثًا لدعم صمود أهلنا في غزّة.

Jadal for Knowledge and Culture invites you to attend a concert by the Lebanese artist May Nasr* in support of our steadfastness and our people in Gaza.

On this evening, May will sing with her guitar, and we will sing with her, from our national struggle heritage.

Date: Friday, February 9, gathering starts at 6:30 pm.
Fees: JDs 10, to be paid at the entrance. 20% of profits will go to the “Resilience Campaign”** to support our people in Gaza.

*May Nasr is an artist from Lebanon, who sings for truth, love, unity and peace. She held many concerts in the region, Europe and America. May graduated from the Lebanese American University (LAU) in Beirut with a Bachelor of Arts – Human Resource Development and Social Work. Besides her artivism, she conributes through her career, to the development of marginalized communities.

Mai received private lessons from the most important icons of singing art, including Zaki Nassif, music and vocal training teacher Badia Sabra Haddad (who was the teacher of Mrs. Fairouz, Majda Al-Roumi, and other icons of Lebanese singing). Mai also studied under the chief sound engineer in Lebanon and the Middle East, Mr. Farid Abu Al-Khair, whom she considered her spiritual father.

Mai produced her first album (For the Precious) in 2008, and a single (I Love You) written by the great writer Ghada Al-Samman in 2012. In addition to that, Mai produced a joint album with her friend, Latin singer Lourdes Perez, in the United States of America under the name (Written in Water) in 2009. They performed a number of concerts together between? And America after they held a joint concert in Spain hosted by “Jerusalem-Malaga Association for Dialogue and Democracy” in 2011.
