دعوة للمشاركة: مجموعة بحثية تجريبية

كجزء من بحثها الفني ، تقود نور بشوتي المقيمة حاليًا في مَماغ ، مجموعة بحثية تجريبية تنعقد أيام الإثنين بين ٢٠ فبراير و ١٣ مارس ٢٠٢٣. سنقرأ ونكتب وننظر سوياً في مجموعة من النصوص والصور والأشياء، لنتخيلَ أشكالاً هامشية وشاعرية للممارسات المعرفية المُخالِف‬ة أو المُهمشة كمواقع لـ (ال)معارف (ال)أخرى والتي تتحدى النماذج السائدة لأنظمة المعرفة الغربية. هذه مجموعة عملية وتجريبية وسيتم تحديد مخرجاتها وفقًا للمناقشات والمساهمات الجماعية للمشاركين والضيوف.

سَتُعقد الجلسات في مَماغ ٦:٣٠ مساءً وستكون القراءات والمناقشات باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية.

Experimental research group – Call for participation

As part of her artistic research, Nour Bishouty (currently in residence at MMAG) leads an experimental research group taking place on Mondays between February 20 and March 13, 2023. We will be reading, writing, and looking at a loose conglomeration of texts, images, and objects, to imagine forms of peripheral, poetic, non-linear, and marginalised knowledge practices as sites of “other knowledges” that challenge the prevailing paradigms of knowledge systems. This is a process-oriented workshop in which outcomes will be defined according to the participants’ and guests’ contributions and discussions.

Sessions will take place at the MMAG Foundation starting at 6:30pm. Readings and discussions will be in Arabic and English.
